I'm glad to announce that my second book - "Texas BBQ Adventure Guide: A roadtrip through the history and how-to of lone star 'Que" is NOW AVAILABLE! This book has, for me, been a long time in the making, and I'm beyond excited that it's soon to make its entrance into the world. I owe a lot of thanks and a ton of gratitude to so many people for their insights and their support along the way, and I think you'll find this to be a fun, informative, and, hopefully, a very useful guide for you to use in your own adventures around the great state of Texas.
To create this book I took several trips around the state in what became a 3,500+ mile trek before it was all said and done. Still, despite all the miles and all the interviews, and all the amazing BBQ that I experienced, the one thing I can say for sure is that I've barely begun to scratch the surface of this cultural touchstone we call BBQ. With that in mind I'm please to say that there's already talk of expanding this book into a full series that will offer deep dive explorations of all 5 of the flavor regions that I've noted around the state, but I can't do it without your support, dear reader.
By ordering your copy of my new BBQ Guide now you cast a vote that tells my publisher (History Press / Arcadia Publishing) to let me keep going, keep exploring, and keep at my passion of writing about my many adventures around the world.
Thanks again for stopping by my website. Be sure to swing by the web store to get enough copies of the new book to pass around at the holidays, and while you're here I hope you'll enjoy some free music on the site-wide player at the bottom of each page, or head to the music tab for some free music downloads. Also, as always, please feel encouraged to drop me a line in the contact section. I welcome your feedback and remain deeply grateful, as ever, for your support.
